The BIG PITCH at TIFF Presented by CaribbeanTales Media Group
This year’s Big Pitch saw 19 talented BIPOC filmmakers presenting their innovative projects to a panel of industry leaders, including the Lea Marin (CBC), Pasha Patriki (Hanger 18, PurpleDOG Post), Angela Moritsugu (Canadian Academy), and Alexis McLaren (Bell Media). After an exciting morning of pitches, we were thrilled to announce the winners:
🏅 1st Prize: Alexander Nunez
🥈 2nd Prize: Tope Babalola
🥉 3rd Prize: Choltu Curlin
Congratulations to all the filmmakers for their outstanding presentations, and a special thank you to everyone who made the event a success! The energy was high, and the creativity on display was nothing short of amazing. The event wrapped up with our Red Hot Mixer, offering a great opportunity for networking and celebration.
