This year, Frances-Anne Solomon, CEO of CaribbeanTales Media Group and founder of the Cross Continental Forum, leads an insightful session: “Production: du local à l’international: programmes et réseaux pour les producteurs caribéens.” (“From Local to Global: Rewiring Production Pathways for Caribbean Producers.”)

About the Cross Continental Forum
The Cross Continental Forum (CCF) is an industry hub that connects producers, partners and projects across Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America and their vast global diasporas. Part of the CaribbeanTales Media Group (CTMG) ecosystem, CCF operates beyond a single convening—supporting projects from development through to co-production and market access. It brings together industry players in a focused environment where relationships can translate into partnerships, financing and distribution. By enabling collaboration across regions that are culturally aligned but structurally disconnected, CCF strengthens the flow of intellectual property, talent and investment across Global Majority markets. CCF supports a more connected global screen economy—one where Black and Global Majority producers are positioned to collaborate, build and own their work. In 2026 the CCF will take place in South Africa (July 20-26), and Toronto (September 8-13).

Solomon’s credits include multiple award-winning productions and the founding of CaribbeanTales Media Group, a pioneering platform for Caribbean and diaspora storytelling worldwide. She is a Director member of AMPAS, and BAFTA.
