Director of Development & Training Overview
The Director of Development will oversee a diverse slate of scripted and documentary film, TV and web projects to sell to the Canadian and global marketplace. The incumbent will develop content in partnership with co-producers and linear and digital platforms in Canada, the US, the Caribbean, Africa and the UK; and package directors, on-screen talent, and showrunners onto existing properties; engage with emerging and established Canadian screenwriting talent to refine, strengthen, and position their properties for the film/TV/online landscape.
Training Manager Position Overview
The Training Manager will implement CaribbeanTales Media Group’s training programs through an agreed critical path and delivery schedule, and will be responsible for record keeping, booking instructors, facilities, and equipment. Working with the Fundraising department to prepare deliverables for funding reports is essential.
Development Manager Position Overview
The Development Manager will coordinate a slate of projects; as well as fielding submissions, assessing scripts/writing samples and generating IP to pitch to buyers who are in line with the ongoing needs and overall brand of the company.
