This challenge is open to all Caribbean women living in the region and Diaspora.

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”25771″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][vc_cta h2=”Short Film Challenge” shape=”square” style=”flat” color=”orange”]The CaribbeanTales Short Film Challenges (SFCs) throw a spotlight on important themes, new voices, and urgent current social issues, and provide visibility to emerging filmmakers. There are five SFCs this year, with a range of prizes. Winning films will have their World Premiere Screening at CaribbeanTales International Film Festival (CTFF) 2017, and receive distribution through CaribbeanTales Worldwide Distribution. CineFAM Caribbean Smartphone Challenge – presented by Flow In partnership with the Belize International Film Festival and the Chicago Caribbean Film Festival. Description: “CineFAM”, which means “films by women” in Haitian-Creole, is CaribbeanTales’ global initiative to support bold new stories by women of colour worldwide. This challenge is open to all Caribbean women living in the region and Diaspora. The winner have the opportunity to win a $1,500 USD prize, a combination of cash and equipment, for best film. The winning film will also be screened at the 2017 CaribbeanTales International Film Festival, in Toronto. Challenge closes Midnight, July 31, 2017;
