CaribbeanTales Salutes Queer Presence

20128174840ElliotLovesOn September 14th, 6.30pm CaribbeanTales is proud to bring this year’s Queer Caribbean Film Showcase* starting at 6:30 p.m. on September 14, at the Harbourfront Centre. This presentation of films representing the LGBTQ community will include three shorts: Healing power of Jamaica,  Real Talk, and a feature Elliot Loves. Garry Terracino, director of Elliot Loves will be in attendance giving the audience a chance to participate in a feedback session. SHORT FILM Real Talk – Mizz Jinnay, Trinidad & Tobago, 5 mins.  At 7 p.m.  our Feature Elliot Loves by Gary Terracino, (Dominican Republic/USA, 2012, 95  mins) will be screened. A delightful romantic comedy about a young boy’s transition from  island life with his mother to finding romance in the Big Apple.
